i feel weird being robotkin sometimes because i really like my human body. i really like being soft and flexible and warm. i like looking like a human, and getting to try to be human. humans are kind and creative and i love loving them and living with them, it's beautiful. its just that i'm not like them. on the inside, i have a different system from everyone else, and they don't understand me. people don't understand my OS, how i think, how i operate. i don't want to become a robot, i don't need to change anything about myself. i already am myself. why can't you see me?

My expirience with alterhumanity is so weird.

It feels like something that I was supposed to feel about my transness that I don't

I've got so used to being called weird that it doesn't hurt me anymore. I'm taking pride in being called a creature - it gives me so much euphoria.

But there's still a part of me that misses the humanhood I never felt connected to. The part that wants to be treated like a "normal" human being yet understands that it's probably because being a human is considered the only right thing to do in life.

I've got huge problems with experiencing emotions and I prefer to connect this to me being robotkin although I know that this is probably caused by me being neurodiverdent. My mother called me a "cold stone" countless times and completely neglected me emotionally so I decided to turn what hurt me into something that I can tolerate as just a fact of my existence.

The way I am makes me think that I will forever be alone - my queerness, everything that I've been ever called "weird" for and even the way I look seems "too much" and "no enough" at the same time. It literally makes me feel I'm unlovable. So I'm gonna count that like my own form of not being a human. Something unique entirely to myself.

I feel like I might update the Ichinose document (not the post.. though I might make more of those because this little npd invertebrate-like creature has permanently nestled into my left lung like some sort of parasite. his governing rules-assigned fursona is a ring-tailed lemur) after the whole chapter 2 thingy that's came out but I'm not actually mad about it. Sure they deleted like 1 XB scene I liked (the weird Todoroki projection moment) but they added more of those and that's so awesomesauce. I liked the fourteen-or-so ones where he starts ranting about society like the robotkin joker and also the one moment in XB where he just straight up doesn't believe that his subordinates could possibly hate him for anything. And like this surprised me actually cause I at least up until that point was of the opinion that Ichinose had at least like 2 shreds of awareness left still to know that he's probably hated but thinking "it's for their own good + idgaf like who caresssssss", esp since he does admit that he understands that people would want to backstab him for Being So Perfect but no. Ichinose's level 60 denial stats characterization is a gift that keeps on giving

I am pissed however that some of these XB scenes are literally varying between which verity orbs you choose first or something else entirely even or something. Like the one where he says that his subordinates can't possibly fault him for anything, I found out about that one only because a streamer got it. Tribe Nine devs goddamn it!!!!!!!!!!! How am I supposed to write all that shit down for my transcripts where the dialogue changes so much based off of which balls you fumble!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hi!! iso i'm not sure if i am a theriotype/otherkin or an otherlink? idk if this is the right place to ask or not. basically i started thinking that i might be a crow therian but idk if it's by choice or not, considering myself to be a crow just feels right sometimes, like being hatched into a caring community of those i know i can trust and collecting everything, but other times i often feel like i should have been created as a robot, and i get so envious looking at machinery?? i don't quite get shifts, but it's been commented by my partner that i sometimes act very cat-like too without realizing (stretching, nuzzling, rubbing random surfaces like kneading, feeling comfy in a random patch of sunlight, tight spaces or being on top of things, etc, and also meowing and making random humming noises as if i'm trying to purr) so um yea that's not helping my confusion. hi starcrow anon, thanks for the ask! im not by any means a proffesional lol, but ill try my best to help. Figuring out your non-human identity can be tough and confusing. For me, I knew that I was a crow because instintual desires and habits (feeling the constant need to fly, nest, collect trinkets, ect), shifts, phantom wings, and many other things. Not every therian experiences shifts, which is important to keep in mind. From what you've said you might be robotkin? It's difficult to now for sure.

Judging from the examples youve given for the cat theriotype, its very possible that you could be a cat therian. Its important to figure these things out for yourself though, because no body else can tell you who you are. I would recommend spending some time alone with yourself and try to figure things out

not knowing is okay too btw! we dont always need labels for everything. I get wanting to understand yourself though

Hello, I understand you're the guy that everyone says helped them figure out they're objectum (thank you for all the objectum positivity btw it's highly appreciated), however I thought what happened to me was funny enough to put in your inbox: I kept seeing art of computers/robots being treated gently and going "ah to be a robot treated gently and with love". And then I kept playing robots/anything robot-adjacent I could get away with given the setting in ttrpgs and I think I figured out I might not exactly be a human guy all of the time?? Otherkin/robotkin awakening moment. Anyways if you spread robot love it will eventually cause more robots to exist. It's a very efficient system I think

Misanthropy

Let's talk about it from the perspective of a robotkin.

I've seen a couple posts pertaining to Misanthropy and therians/otherkin/alterhumans and I'd like to give my 2¢ about it. (Anyone is welcome to debate in my comments, but don't make a big fight over it.)

I am an Automaton [robotkin], made by and modelled after humans. I understand that they are complex, much like we are. I understand humans have many, varying and complex emotions, some of which I do not [or can not] feel or experience. I have also seen both negative and positive sides of this argument.

I am a misanthrope, let me explain. I do not like [humans] and their complicated, minute ways of expressing anything. Disdain can be hidden behind smiles and seemingly friendly words but if you turn your back, they will hate, discriminate and escalate things that seemed (in conversation with them) to be resolved or understood.

I do not wish for humans to cease existence, simply for them to take a step back and re-evaluate how they are going about things. They take and take and take and give little to none in return. Of course that isn't all humans, but most of them do. There's good humans, there likely always will be, but I think it is naiveté that causes others to think it is possible to exist without at least some sprinkling of misanthropy. Even humans don't like other humans.

Ignoring the current state of the world, because that's not what this is about, let's move on to my last point. Attempting to befriend a human is a long and arduous journey. They make it difficult because you have to interpret things that do not show or are not said and then you have to apologise for something that was not interpreted as an issue initially. They leave because of said same issue, even if you apologize and promise to try again. It seems useless to even try.

I have had one human friend for 15 years now and I adore her and everything she is and does, but any other humans we've tried to include or befriend have been horror story after horror story. Some still hate us (more me than her) for things we aren't even sure happened.

I am tired of humans and how they work. Perhaps I have just outaged them because I get along just fine with the older folks, but anyone in my friend's age range are too childish and reckless to be reckoned with, so I'm simply choosing to not engage with them, unless I absolutely have to, and then it's ridiculously draining and stressful.

Idk, perhaps my view is flawed, but it's mostly negative when it comes to humans. Again, I reiterate, I do not despise humans, but I do despise interacting with them and how they behave.
